Have you signed up to receive electronic correspondence for your Unit yet?
Last year, Malvern Condominium Property Management launched an initiative that allows the Condominium Corporations under our management to provide electronic correspondence the all Unit Owners via their community websites.
The Condominium Act, 1998 allows Condominium Corporations to send communications to Owners by fax, email or other electronic method, provided each Owner agrees in writing that such notices may be given in this manner. Our current technology allows us to communicate notices that general in nature, such as your AGM, Notice of Future Funding, notices relating to work on the property, etc. Individually addressed letters, such as budget or arrears notices, are not yet available through electronic means. These items will still be delivered or mailed to you.
Authorizing the Corporation to communicate with you in this manner means that you will receive immediate notification of correspondence available to you. Traditional mail delivered through Canada Post is known to be unreliable at times, so this way you can be sure you’re up-to-date on important information. It also has the potential to substantially reduce the administrative costs to your community (which are ultimately passed on to each Unit Owner through the maintenance fees).
Of course, participation is optional. If you prefer to receive all notices by mail, delivery will continue in that method automatically; no action is required on your part. Should you wish to participate, login to your community website and under “my account” click “my notifications” and check “opt-in electronic communication”. Please ensure that you have added your email address to your profile to ensure you receive email alerts when new correspondence is added. This is also a great opportunity to review your profile to ensure the Corporation has the correct contact information for your unit!
Should you have any questions or require assistance with your community website login, please contact our team and they will be happy to help.
How do I obtain the password to login?

Eugene
