Persons with disabilities are responsible for notifying our office of special needs, assisting our office in proposing solutions to overcome any barriers, and supervising and keeping service animals in control when used to access our services.
Whenever possible, our services will be accessible through the use of assistive devices, service animals, and support persons; and reinforced through training of personnel on accessibility requirements.
There is an Accessible Customer Service Standards Procedure that implements this policy. A full copy of the policy is available upon request. In addition, we welcome feedback in regards to the policy. Requests and feedback in this regard are accepted in any form.
All staff will adhere to this policy and the supporting program. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that measures and procedures are followed by workers and that workers have the information they need in this regard.
