We are very excited to announce that Malvern’s President Bill Thompson has been selected as the Leader of the Year 2018 for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario! This award is presented each year to a Registered Condominium Manager who has demonstrated team leadership in business practices and/or in the development of professional property managers.
Bill has been a true leader in the industry since 1985 and tirelessly dedicates his time to the advancement of professional condominium management through his volunteer work. He has been a teacher and mentor for three decades for the team at Malvern and has trained countless professionals in the marketplace and pushed them to further their own skills. Bill’s commitment to raising the bar in the industry has defined his aspirations and his career in property management; and has pushed so many industry professionals to further their own skills and improve the standards of condominium management in the Toronto marketplace. Because of Bill, the team at Malvern prides itself on our innovative approach to property management.
Throughout his career, Bill has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario and has been an active member on many of its committees. Bill was among the very first in Ontario to obtain his RCM designation.
Bill has also been a very active member of the Canadian Condominium Institute, having attained his ACCI designation from the Canadian Condominium Institute in June 2000. He is past President of both the Toronto Chapter and National Boards
Over the years, Bill has provided educational support to industry members through direct leadership in his role as President of Malvern, lecturing on numerous topics through the Canadian Condominium Institute, speaking at nearly every condominium conference for the last decade and has also taught Condominium Administration and Human Relations for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario.
